As Technical Director, Ben recruited a huge number of volunteers to create a massive set for Mary Poppins. He recruited engineers and innovators to replicate the complicated magic effects required on this show. He created a strong sense of community with the many volunteers to bring this set to life. As Technical Director, Ben implemented standards for this new theatre for rigging and flying effects. He provided extensive research of building codes, weight restrictions and path constraints to safely produce the preferred flying effects in this show. With CAD drawings and detailed CNC routing, Ben produced the meticulous scenic elements and ensured all elements were safely and effectively installed. This ambitious effort was lauded by local critics and audiences.
